Amy Howell, FNP-C

I have been seen at this office repeatedly for the same red flag symptoms since last year almost 6 months of no progress and no diagnosis. The ball has been dropped for sure, there's no other way to put that. #1. Thing that has stopped me is pain and that hasn't been addressed by anyone. It's almost like the provider doesn't want to get involved just based on nothing at allI have been transparent and open about my symptoms. Maybe when a patient is seeking some support the doctors and nurses could actually respond with a proper inquiry. No future plan of care or current plan just wait for the specialist and cross your fingers. Well I'm sorry but no, that's not gonna be good enough.

Went to my appt. and still haven't gotten my meds for being a diabetic. Need a testing machine for my sugar and takes time to respond back to you.

Amy Howell is an excellent N.P. Her medical assistant Jessica is awesome also. The entire staff at Albion is always friendly and professional.

All of my experiences with the personnel at the Albion office has been top rate and they have taken care of my medical needs in a very personal and professional manner. I enjoy coming to this office.

Amy Howell is an extremely good healthcare provider. She's answered any questions that I needed answers to and has always gone over the test that she had ordered. I feel very comfortable coming to see her. Amy's assistant is very helpful and very easy to talk to. They are both good and I am glad they work for Oaklawn.

I have never had a better provider than Amy Howell. Competent professional, with empathy, humor, down to earth. I've never felt more comfortable, she always communicates her recommendations and is willing and able to explain the multiple questions I had. My Insurance Is garbage and no longer covers Oaklawn but I still choose to see Amy with no regrets. Also, the reception staff on the Family Medical side are also polite, professional, personable, and helpful.

We absolutely love our sons pediatrician and nurse! Highly highly recommend

My experience with Amy Howell has always been satisfactory. She takes the time to discuss my concerns and questions with the utmost respect and courtesy. I would always be willing to place my complete confidence in her decisions regarding my health care.

Danny's O2 sat in the office was 83. He had been hospitalized at Henry Ford a few months earlier w a pneumothorax. NP Howell didn't seem to have those records. We asked for home oxygen because Danny was struggling to breathe. NP Howell said she ordered oxygen from LinCare. The oxygen was not delivered. I phoned LinCare at NP Howells office for three days trying to get oxygen delivered. Both LinCare and NP Howells office said the other was not responding to requests for information. NP Howells office staff were not interested in trying to solve the communication problem w LinCare. Finally I asked LinCare for their fax number and gave it to Howells office receptionist. The oxygen was delivered after 3 days of persistent phone calls. Shame on you

I had to go on my break from work and was thinking that I'd have to use some sick time to cover the time I was gone...they were so fast and thorough at this office that I was back home and back to work within the hour and didn't have to use any of my sick time...it all fit into my 1 hour break...I'm extremely appreciative of that!!And Dr. Amy Howell and the office staff are amazing!

Amy Howell is one of the best NP I have ever seen! Myself and my children all love Amy because she listens and cares! Amy is amazing and so is her nurse! I am happy to have them as are health care team!

She remembered many things about him and quickly found any other info she needed in his medical record on her laptop. She spoke with him and with mom both. She carefully evaluated options. She showed genuine concern. She gave clear expectations of the chosen treatment. We felt confident at the end.

I do not do well with doctors, so I was extremely nervous to see someone new. My primary care provider was unavailable, but Amy made me feel comfortable. I would happily see Amy again if [NAME] was unavailable.

I love the Dr. office they care all great people and I was very comfortable.

My overall experience was very good being a new patient. Amy was wonderful and gave me the answers I was needing , setting up appointments was fast now I have a new doctor that is so much closer to home makes a big difference.
