Treating a patient like they don't know what they are talking about and then sending out things to be tested with no response for over 72 hours while symptoms never improved is why I will never see Angela Fleet again.

It was a good experience like it is anytime we visit emergency or urgent care. The visit was for my 8 year old son, they treated us great as they always do.

I came to the walk-in clinic with severe ear pain. The Doctor said she couldn't see well and asked the nurse to flush it out so she could see. After unsuccessfully trying to flush it three times with Ice-cold tap water from a plastic squirt bottle, I asked her to try warm water. It did help to flush some out, but all the flushing made the pain much worse, and I was extremely dizzy from that point on. The doctor came back in, said it was fine, and I could go. I asked her why it was still so painful, and she said it would go away after flushing. I ended up in the ER three days later when I could no longer stand the pain and was so dizzy that I was falling down. The ER doctor said I have a raging ear infection and a perforated eardrum. The infection was bad enough that I had to get a shot and go on ten days of Augmentin and a recheck in 7 days because the doctor doesn't think one round of antibiotics will clear it up. Sooooo, I am not happy with my care for these reasons. Not only am I still in pain and can't hear at all a week later, but I will have doctor and ER room bills on top of everything else.

Mixup at check-in They couldn't see me from their windows view and assumed that had left (*they didn't call out my name). This delayed treatment 90 min after my appt time!

Excellent and efficient service from the time we registered - the receptionist got the urine sample, [NAME] was wonderful and respectful. The NP was very complete. She took her time and made sure I understood everything and even provided a handout on helping with leg cramps. I know your fast care is limited but it was exactly what I needed.

- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/10/2025
This visit was a complete waste of my time. I learned more about my injury by searching online. All of my symptoms pointed to one possibility on multiple source sites. This diagnosis was very briefly mentioned during my visit. I was very disappointed in the level of knowledge this provider seemed to have. I won't use Oaklawn Express Care again. I only chose them because the wait time at Sparrow Urgent Care in Charlotte was over 90 minutes.

I didn't have any issues with the provider but the MA was kinda rude. She refused to let me get a couple of my shots in my arms and rather gave me them all in my hip area. She was very unprofessional how she carried herself. The provider was amazing though.

My wait time was almost 45 minutes after vitals were taken. They were not busy. She had been with a patient before me. Perhaps they could have had another provider working.

Angela was very kind, knowledgeable, caring and explained things to [NAME] so she could understand. She was very reassuring to her wheri Jerilynn asked her if she was gonna be okay. The xray tech was also very kind and caring and explained to my daughter what she was doing as she took several xrays of her knee.

I went in with concerns of a sensitive subject and the nurse who took my vitals and asked questions was great but when the physician came in she seemed very uncomfortable with the topic of the conversation and my concerns. Didn't really help me at all. She didn't even examine me. She just told me that she thinks that I was right about what I thought could be wrong and then said that if it got worse to go to the ER. My mind was not put at ease and I was very disappointed in the way my care was handled. I went in for help and to get answers but left with nothing.

This was an urgent care visit. Physician was very concerned about what I was experiencing and sent me to the hospital. Very caring physician and prompt in making the decision. Appreciate it so much.
- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/1/2025
Athough Angie was very nice, she did not listen to me or seem concerned with my issues. I explained I had a sore throat and terrible cough and white spots in my mouth. She glanced VERY BRIEFLY in my mouth and said she didn't see any spots. I told her they were there. She said she would get a tongue depressor and look again. Why wouldn't she have used that right away when someone tells you their symptoms? She went out and came back with one and then said she did some spots then. She was diagnosing me before she even completely looked at me. I felt like she was not listening to me or taking my concerns seriously. I have not been to an Urgent Care or ER in over 20 years. I was obviously very sick to go there and she dismissed me quickly as just allergies or a virus. I'm on day 18 of a sore throat and terrible cough now. I wish she would have done a strep test. I will not go back again.

I came in because I had injured my leg and was worried about the swelling and bruising. She glanced at it and asked if I wanted an x-ray. I told her, "you are the doctor, that is why I came in-to get your opinion if an x-ray was needed". Then she said I could get one if I wanted....not..from the looks of It you should/should not need one. I mentioned the hard lump below my knee -it was all white with red around it...worried about a clot. She just looked and said "we aren't worried about that". This was early in the morning right after the clinic opened. She said to go home and she would call with the results. At around 5:00, I called to see if they heard anything and she said "We tried to call you....." There was no incoming phone call, no text, and no email. I would not go back to her again.
- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/30/2025
Went in for hip pain and leg pain, wondering if possibly I had a blood clot in lower leg, extreme pain said there was family history. Ordered an X-ray and not ultrasound for possible cloth. Of course X-ray showed not. Report just said I had arthritis in my hip and lower leg wasn't broken! I didn't go in thinking I had a broken leg!!!! Was expecting an ultrasound to see if there was a clot. WAIST of time and money!!!!

I was a little disappointed I waited quite a while for a radiology report from my X-rays and then was being sent home not knowing of any findings from the report yet. I was told if needed to I could come back once they had the report and get a boot if that was what was needed but I live 30 minutes away.

I was very thankful that they could see me so quickly after my own physician office cancelled two separate appointments due to scheduling conflicts.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/20/2025
After being the first one at the clinic and checked by the MA, we still waited nearly 20 minutes for the doctor to come in and she only did so because I went out and said that we had another drs appt for my other son in 25 mins in Battle Creek that we needed to get to and asked if since he had been swabbed, if she could call with the results. She was out at the desks and glared at me when I asked this. She then very quietly said Ill be right in while giving me a dirty look. I didnt fully hear her because it was so quiet and Im hard of hearing so I said Im sorry, I didnt hear you. She looked even more annoyed and said Ill be in in a moment. She came in right after and was nice to my son but she sure makes me miss the other NP that was there with the tattoos. She was wonderful!

This lady that was at express care today was so bad she done absolutely nothing for me did not care about how much pain I was in and how I was feeling and even after I told her my dogonis she kept saying it was something it was not and would not be corrected she was uncaring did not listen and did not care I ended up leaving express and having to go to the hospital she is a very poor provider
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/6/2025
I have fairly severe asthma and because of that even mild colds usually lead to rather severe asthma symptoms and chest infections. While my cold had just started and not progressed to the point of an infection it is leading there and I expressed that to her and she told me take over the counter meds. Showed zero concern for what I was expressing to her and was short and fairly rude. I will have to go tomorrow to a different urgent care as over the course of just a half a day my symptoms have worsened quite a bit. That was a waste of my time and potentially exposed myself and others to illness with zero help, concern or resolve.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/3/2025

I went in with a sinus infection that I have two or three times a year because of pollen I explained to the female doctor the exact conditions that I had a sore throat sinus congestion and spinning of green brown mucus indicating a sinus infection I get them every year even after all that she would not prescribe me an antibiotic told me I would have to be sick for 10 days first I just had two stents in my heart six weeks ago and I can't afford to get that sick before they prescribe me any antibiotics I'm very displeased with the service and I will never go there again be lucky if I don't have a court case about it thanks but no thanks

The nurse was very rude and didn't listen to concerns. Was very judgemental. She didn't seem to want to be there at all.

I was seen for sciatica pain. I was a walk in not an appointment. Was given scrip for muscle relaxers and lidocaine patches to help ease the pain. It has helped and I am satisfied with this 'urgent care' facility

This was my first visit, will be a new patient, but they suggested to visit the express care clinic if needed before my initial visit. I did and glad that I did
