This was not an office visit, it was a phone call for a 6 month semi annual check up,at my request. I'm 86, dont drive, just lost my person and did not think I should be out In the cold nor visiting a hospital or drs office when relatively healthy. I was grateful we could do by phone

My only issue is that due to a recent change when I call the provider's office number the call goes to auto answer and not an office assistant.

Provider, Dr. David Byrens MD, is AMAZING. I have complete confidence in him and trust him. Most if the nurses and MAs are good, but the rest of the office is WAY. WAY below par!!! Has been since Oaklawn bought him out. Very disappointed with that portion.

We have been with Dr. Byrens for a number of years. His office was always very professional & efficient. Since the hospital has taken over that level has depleted considerably. We only continue because of the excellent care of Dr. Byrens. When he is gone so will we.

Dr. Byrens has always been a great doctor and provided comprehensive relative to my health circumstances.

I had an injury to my back that was treated up north in ER. I was released from their care on Saturday. I was asked to have a follow up visit with my primary care provider when I got home. I called on Monday morning and had appointment early that afternoon. I appreciated being seen so quickly. I also needed a referral to a specialist. I got a phone call from specialist office the next day. I deeply am grateful to Dr Byrens and his staff for their care.

I don't like the Oaklawn Medical Group takeover, but I understand his decision to sell out. His office is starting to have familiar faces more often now. When he first changed, we never saw the same people in the office. It was chaos and one family member was prescribed too high of a dosage and the office had to call and tell her not to take the medicine as prescribed. Scared the crap out of us and much trust was lost with the Oaklawn Medical Group. Luckily the family has not seen this individual again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Byrens for over 30 years and so has my spouse. I always attend his appointments as well. Dr. Byrens has always provided the questions regarding our needs. We have always been satisfied with our visits. In the last five years both my husband and I have been satisfied with the way he has provided the service we needed or has provided a suggestion of another physician to help.
