Only been going to this provider a short time but have been very satisfied with the care I've received that goes for the entire Oaklawn medical group so far

I have been coming here for 3 years and using Jennifer as my Family doctor. I moved 2 years ago, an hour away, but she is so great I still come here. Even after moving to a bigger city and having several other options. She is wonderful. I cant even imagine going to someone else.

Very nice and clean office. The staff at the reception desk were very kind and helpful and the Nurse Practitioner was patient and very helpful.

She listened to me was kind and provided all the information I needed. It is always a good experience at this office and with my provider

Jennifer and staff go above and beyond to accommodate my autistic son and make him safe and comfortable. They have patience with him and explain anything to me that I need. Amazing staff!

Every time I see her I feel like she doesn't care. Today I made an appointment and the front desk didn't ask why I why needing an appointment they just scheduled me for a same day appointment I was expecting to be able to talk about my concerns and she literally cut me off and said you only have a 15 min appointment time this was meant for people with the flu or Covid or a general cold your going to have to make another appointment for the other stuff but she never let me even explain what was going on and how I felt like they may have all been related! So she only addressed my eyes not my other 2 serious issues I have been having and was even in the er for but I can never get an appointment after my er visits! Left crying and probably won't be returning this isn't the first time she hadn't listen to me

The staff at this facility are very informed about their work as well as the patients history. Very happy with my choice for care.

I have truly appreciated how quickly tests were done, however; I am surprised that a surgical consult appointment is still a month away. I feel that since everything was done so quickly, having to wait a month to talk about how to proceed does not make sense.

I felt judged by provider and their assistant. Facial expressions when I answered questions. When prescribed medication, I explained I still take children's Tylenol so anything strong upsets my belly. Provider said "well it's just xyz" and used words I've never heard of or even know what it means. Provider told me a chirproator can't read X-rays and spent 5min explaining how they can't. Dismissing me. This happens every visit with provider and assistant. I leave feeling dismissed, judged, like I'm uneducated because I don't understand or ask questions "I should know". I switched to the Coldwater location because of where I had moved too but after all this, I would rather drive the additional 20min to Marshall (making it a 30min drive) to see someone else then to step foot in that office again. Check in employees, normally polite. Provider and her assistant, I have left every appointment feeling dismissed and belittled when it comes to my health. I do not feel like she cares and that is her JOB. I'm also aware that this is most likely not anonymous and I stand by what I said.

This was my first visit at this office. My only other experience with Oaklawn is with the urgent care in Battle Creek. I was actually very impressed, both with the doctor and with the front desk staff being able to fit me in and use a work around to get around the new patient scheduling issue so I could be seen soon since I was sick. I was so impressed that I actually do plan to switch to this office for myself and my teen. Thank you again to the front desk staff!

I love my healthcare providershe is kind and caring. Always offering suggestions with my medications, diet, and my overall heath.

Health care visits have changed. No more hands-on exams or thorough checks of body systems or questionable moles or spots. Also, follow up calls or scheduling for recommended tests or procedures is not the best. We discuss procedures and stating they would be scheduled but never hear back from provider or specialist. Also, placing information on portal is poor.

Best first meeting with a PA I've ever had!

I spent very little time in the waiting room. When taken into the exam room the tech and the NP were very nice and we had great conversation about what I was there for.

I still have no answers on my condition

As always, it was a very good appointment.

I brought my son for a 5 year well child visit. It was not completed based on the care we have received at other providers. Basic checks were not performed, Such as: hearing and vision. Reproductive health. The spine health. Fine and gross motor skills. No questions or forms to inquire about social or emotional health or development. Overall it felt sloppy and incomplete compared to other providers and what the government recommends for well child visits.

I usually see cc but couldn't get in so they set me up with the new doctor which I totally loved. She got right to the problem knew what to do myself and my granddaughter were very happy with her. I would think about switching for her as my primary doctor, everybody's nice in that office.

This was only my second time to have seen Dr. Lawrence but, the more I see her the more I feel comfortable with her everything always seems to be in order... from checking in our out you're all set. Thanks for taking the time to care. I appreciate you!!

Everything was good about this visit except one issue. I was told to schedule a regular yearly physical. I've done this many times. I have ALWAYS been given a lab sheet so that I can have labs taken about a week before the physical. This allows the doctor to see my numbers and they can then go over them WHILE I'm sitting there. Well, I was told that they would take the labs on the day that I have my physical. Not before. My appointment is in the afternoon, and I have to fast. Which means I can't eat till late afternoon. Kind of unreasonable. I was told that they would then call me with my results. Which means I get a call from someone who is not my doctor but a nurse, typically while I'm driving. And then if there is a question or further doctor advice is needed, I'm required to make another appointment, which costs me more money and the inconvenience of going BACK to the office. The lady at the front desk told me that this is the office policy. I really find that hard to believe. [NAME] was my previous doctor at this office and she used to give me a lab sheet BEFORE my physical. Why is this so hard to understand?? I would like to talk to someone about this. I'm not satisfied at all.

I had questions about my estrogen levels and asked if I had thrush. I did get labs done and when Givin results I was just told thyroid were good and I was post menopausal. I ask if I have do anything she said no. So I feel my concern for that just got dropped. My thrush I never received antibiotics and I ask someone about it. She said she ask the FNP and never heard back. I tried to look at my test results, but they are not posted. So confused on what I need to do next!

I had blood work done over a week ago have not received results. I got a call saying I was dehydrated drink more water and watching something with my kidneys.

Friendly staff

It was my annual medicare wellness and it went well. Thanking god for it going so well and the MA and Jennifer being so friendly and willing to listen.

Absolutely everyone I saw/spoke with was patient, polite, friendly & helpful.
