Worst visit ever was basically told deal with your pain there is nothing wrong with you

Wonderful first experience at your Oaklawn Express Care

Nick was very nice and personable. We went for a sports physical, but he took his time, explained things, and made us very comfortable. Excellent job!

Said "I can't help you". Checked my lungs and said they sounded crystal clear then I got checked by a different doctor at a different place the same day and turned out to be pneumonia.

The doctor and nurse were very knowledgeable and caring.

They got me in right away. Did a urine test determined what was wrong. I was in and out in prob 45 minutes.

This visit occurred at the Urgent Care on Beckley Rd. I had excellent care. Everyone was kind and professional. I would use this office again.

My concern was the Medical assistant took my blood pressure it was 141/91 which is high I did have coffee about an hour before coming to urgent care however they never rechecked my blood pressure when I left even though the nature of me coming to urgent care today was pain in the upper left back and chest pain when I cough.

Went for a sports physical. Appointment was fast and efficient.

Went to Express Care for treatment following a yellow jacket swarm attack where my arm and my neck were swelling, redness growing and feveriss . Put on antibotics.

Nick listened, explained what to do if my condition did not improve and I could not get in to see my primary care Dr.That I could return for help if my condition did not improve. It was reassuring to know, I could return if needed. Appreciate the care. My husband also developed pneumonia from COVID, was cared for here at URGENT CARE awhile back. Thank you also for helping him get well too

Everyone helped me. I was hurting. They did their best. I am very thankful of the care I received at this encounter.

They were all great dealing with my special needs son. They explained and treated him with respect. So nice that they explained everything that they were doing.

I was a walk-in & they got me in & out in a very short period of time. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. Disagnosed the problem immediately & gave me the prescription I needed. Will definately use them in the future & will also highly reccommend them.

This was an urgent care visit, so there wasn't an appointment. Nick was great! He knew what was wrong, told me the plan, and got me on my way to pick up two scripts. And I am feeling soooo much better! Thanks, Nick!

Was a good day they prescribed a medication for me, but they didn't call it in right away, so I had to wait at family fare for my script to be filled

I went in for some advice for my side pain I've been having, I wanted more lidocaine patches, but the provider was acting like I only need a couple and my insurance wouldn't cover it, I was very disappointed in the visit, if I'm paying for the doctors visit, I would appreciate what I ask for, he seemed very arrogant when I asked to get like 10 lidocaine patches, I will never go to that doctors office again, definitely felt discouraged, I just wanted to be treated without having to come in there 10 more times to be treated, he was very short with me, he was thinking my insurance wouldn't cover what I wanted very disappointed in the visit with him.

Professional ans concerned

As I was going in for after hours care I was blessed to have a knowledgeable provider. Thanks to Dr. Nowak I am treating my sinus infection.

None about this visit

I went express care for a sensitive medical issue. They essentially confirmed what I already knew, and recommended I treat it over the counter. The exam was very brief, to the point that the provider did not catch the fact that I needed further medical attention and required referral to a colorectal surgeon. Now instead of using Oaklawn's specialists I had to follow up elsewhere and have been referred to another system. You'd think Oaklawn would want to retain patients / customers by now introducing them to Oaklawn's doctors, but instead I was sent home with no other information about my options. I followed up with [NAME] for a second opinion and received very satisfactory care that made me realize how very underwhelming my experience as Express Care was. I am an Oaklawn supporter but my experience there has led me outside of the Oaklawn group.

This provider was very helpful, he read my records of going to the clinic last week Thursday for the same issue of poison ivy, he found that I was not properly prescribed medication which ultimately caused me to have an adverse reaction and have a larger outbreak rather then feeling relief. He was able to give me the injection the other doctor refused due to me being "self-pay" and re-prescribed the correct dosage of the medicine to try and give me relief. I'm thankful I chose to go to the Albion Clinic rather then going back to the Marshall Clinic to be seen by the same doctor

Went in because I did something to my ankle. I waited almost an hour to get the results back from the X-rays

This was urgent care not family doctor. We're very helpful

This is the second time i've visited urgent care and saw nicholas and he's sent me out with no help or treatment just informing to "let it run its course". I decided to get a second opinion, and she immediately noticed how red and swollen my tonsils were and prescribed antibiotics and a steroid, all within the same couple hours. The first time nicholas did that to me he sent me out of the office saying I had covid, even though informed him that my school tested us 3x a week that time and the symptoms also didn't match, I went to another doctor for a second opinion and was diagnosed with a bacterial respiratory infection. It's extremely frustrating to know as a patient that I can not share what's going on with my body and be believed, so much so that (today) he would try to send me out of the office saying take a "Motrin" and not being willing to prescribe even though I was fully aware that I didn't need motrin, as I informed the nurse and doctor that I had been sick for almost a week and it's been getting worse the last 2 days, so I had already been trying to let it pass with over the counter medicine.

Nick was top notch in looking at my records , knowing what's been going on and finding a solution to the problem. Very intelligent nice doctor and I would highly recommend!

Dr. Nowak is absolutely great.

Nick was a nice guy, but it seemed that he was in a BIG rush. He hardly let me say word, and I felt the care I received could have been better. Later in the day I decided to go to a different walk in clinic where I felt the provider took more time to listen & gave me a script for my concern.

Went for X-ray of lungs.
