Rick Reeves, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician joining Oaklawn Medical Group – Beadle Lake Primary Care. He brings a broad range of experience from both military and civilian practice, most recently serving as a Senior Medical Officer in the United States Navy where he held multiple leadership roles, including Family Medicine Department Head. Dr. Reeves is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered family medicine care with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and overall wellness. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University and has received recognition for excellence in clinical care and leadership. In addition to caring for family medicine patients, Dr. Reeves will also provide interpretation of pulmonary function tests (PFTs) for Oaklawn providers. He is not accepting pulmonary specialty patients. Dr. Reeves is also passionate about community and global health, co-leading medical mission work to provide care for underserved populations.

Dr Reeves took time to not only allow a new patient he took the time to hear why I was sent there but listened to why I don't see doctors. This visit has really started changing my life choices about doctors. He's easy to talk too and I feel he really listens to patients. Thank you.

He takes time to hear from you and is straight forward to you. He didn't put me down and he will treat you the way you want to be treated. All in all he treats patients as patients and not as an insurance money machine.
