Shannon Martin, MD

Dr. Shannon Martin, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care for both adults and children. She offers a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, including routine vision exams (eyeglass evaluation and refraction), adult and pediatric eye exams, diabetic eye screenings and treatment of retinopathy, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment (including laser procedures), cataract surgery, and macular degeneration diagnosis and treatment (including intravitreal injections).

Dr. Martin also performs eyelid surgery, treats dry eye syndrome, and provides urgent evaluations for eye emergencies, ensuring timely care for a wide spectrum of vision and eye health concerns.

She earned her medical degree from Rush University Medical Center and completed her residency in ophthalmology at William Beaumont Hospital, where she received advanced surgical and medical training in eye disease management.
