I did not rate Dr. Thakur as the best possible doctor. I rated him at 9 because he is the best doctor for my needs. I have no way of knowing if there is another doctor who is better, and I do not care. Dr. Thakur is good enough, and that's what matters. I am thankful for his care.

Very satisfying

Good. Dr. Petra Toutanji is my primary care physician and she recommended Dr. Thacter for issues I have had with swollen feet and ankles and I trust her with my life. She is absolutely amazing. I have NEVER had a bad experience anywhere or with anyone at Oaklawn. My family loves you guys so much and we appreciate the love and care you out into our health.

I purchases compression stockings through this office when I brought them home, they were incorrect from what I ordered. I had to return to get correct ones.

This had been a scheduled appointment for vein treatment that had to be pushed back a couple of times due to a foot surgery in between. The office and the doctor have always been extremely helpful in answering my questions, and I was about an hour and 15 minutes early arriving and they even got me in almost a half hour earlier for my treatment. So very happy to have been referred to Dr Thakur by a friend!Some of the survey questions may not have the exactly referred to this particular specialist, and this need for vein treatment which has been a need for many years. Very happy to have finally had it done.

This doctor provided the decision regarding treatment after consulting with primary care doctor the same day. I was pleased with his promptness.

Dr. Thakur listens and responds with respect. We work together to maintain my fistula health. His office is extremely accommodating to my schedule.

The young lady who performed my ultrasound was great as usual. Also, my vascular surgeon Dr. Thakur was thorough & pleasant!

Very knowledgeable and honest

I was under the impression that 3 months ago when I saw the doctor that a procedure would be done in the office the same day and it wasn't because now it needs pre-authorization. Mentally I was ready for it to be done. I just feel like the ball was dropped

Physician was very concerned about possible new complications from my IVC filter. I trust his judgment on this.

This was my first visit & he said I needed an ultra sound first 7 that was schedule that day. Doing that Dec 12.

I appreciate that Dr. Thakur referred me to Cardiologist since the potential problem would be a heart valve problem.

This was my first visit with this doctor. He didn't have my medical records, my PCP didn't send them .

As usual, my visit was very good!

Dr. Thakur and his office staff are great. The Doctor and everyone are knowledgeable and attentive.

I always feel very comfortable and confident with my Doctor, and tell a lot of people about him!!

Dr Thakur allows all of my questions to be asked and when I'm unsure of his meaning he will draw a picture on the whiteboard, which is very helpful in understanding the veins. The staff in the office is always so wonderful!

I was referred to Shakur by my regular PA. I have had the office visit. An ultrasound is schedule but it hasn't been done yet. Scheduled for next week.

He is from India - He has a very "British Accent" AND speaks VERY RAPIDLY - This makes a patients full attention AND effort to understand - tELL HIM TO "SLOW DOWN!!"

I was really disappointed that when I set up this surgical consultation that I spent 5 minutes with the provider and then he could not help me until I scheduled another appointment for an ultra sound and then a follow up appointment the day after that. That is 3 appointment that I have to take time off of work and then I may get on the schedule for an MRI or surgery. When I had this procedure done in Battle Creek they had the consultation, ultrasound and results and I was scheduled for surgery all in one visit. This is a money grab and I dont even know if I want to continue. Very disappointed in this drawn out approach just so you can bill my insurance more money. So this is all to be determined. I may or may not continue with your services. Unnecessary. Make things easier not more difficult, your reviews may in turn be better.

Doctor was very nice and helpful. Staff was all polite

I went, he checked my legs and ordered an ultrasound, 3 weeks out. I left without a feeling of hope for a resolution of the pain in my legs. Don't know what more to say.

First appt with this Doctor, I was very pleased how it went!

The only I thing I didn't get was what to do about the situation with my throat. No meds of any kind were suggested or what to do for treatment.

This was my 1st visit. I was in the room with the doctor less than 5 minutes. We didn't discuss anything. He felt my legs and ankles & asked me how far I can walk. He said I need to use compression socks for 3 months for insurance reasons before anything else can happen. I was scheduled an ultrasound appointment also.

Everything fine waiting for phone call of hospital dates

First time I saw Dr Thakur. Very pleasant and professional. He surveyed my situation, asked appropriate questions about my condition, examined my body for specific problems then simply concluded their was nothing for me to worry about. He didn't go Into detail about my condition. He made it simple, direct, to the point and in about 10 minutes I was at the checkout counter. Very efficient. Would go back to him in a heartbeat if needed.

I was never told prior to my procedure that I would have to lay flat on my back unable to move for 24 hrs without food & water.

The young lady who did my ultrasound is skilled & personable! My vascular surgeon, Dr Thakur, is a kind & professional person & I am so pleased & thankful he is my doctor!

Dr. Thakur is a very good doctor. We are happy Oaklawn has him here in Marshall.

They asked what pharmacy I wanted to use but sent my prescription to another pharmacy.
