Than Oo, MD

Dr. Than Oo, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of kidney disease, hypertension, and related conditions. He provides comprehensive care for patients with both acute and chronic kidney disorders, offering expertise in advanced diagnostics, treatment planning, and long-term kidney health management.

Dr. Oo earned his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine in Rangoon, Myanmar (Burma). He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Jacobi Hospital in New York City, and went on to complete a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, where he gained advanced training in complex renal conditions, dialysis, and transplant medicine.
