I love Dr Comai. Listens to me and my concerns. Treats me with respect. Can't say enough how good he is.

Dr. Comai always takes sufficient time with me and answers all my questions.

Takes times to address questions and concerns!!! Explains issues in layman’s terms.

Dr. Comai was very pleasant and explained everything. His office staff was very nice and professional.

I had total hip replacement surgery and I found Dr.Comai to be very personable, extremely well informed, and he also listened very intently to my concerns and had great advice to give. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of total hip replacement- he exceeded my expectations at every step of the process

Dr. Comai did my hip replacement and has addressed many other health issues with myself and my husband. I have so much confidence in his abilities and honesty, that I don't need any pre-op meds for anxiety or relaxation. I know I am in the best hands.

HIP WAS SHORTSharing my story only to help others. My hip replacement by Dr Comai at Oaklawn resulted in me having one leg shorter than the other. Apparently, OAKLAWN has a ??limited set of implant sizes—“no half-sizes” (I was told, after surgery)—because it’s a smaller center. Larger hospitals I was told ?carry more options.I should’ve researched more, including newer surgical methods that protect and preserve hip ?muscle. In my case, a lot of muscle was cut, and since then I’ve struggled with muscle failure even walking short distances. And a shortened leg-length is forever problematic ?. Inserts help, but things aren’t the same.
